Drug Category: Appetite stimulant.
Generic Name: Buclizine.
Contents: Susp: Buclizine 1%. Tabs: Buclizine HCI 25mg.
Indications: For stimulation of appetite.
Dosage: In two or three equally divided doses taken half an hour before meals, 12-15 weeks duration of treatment. Susp: Children: 10-20kg, 20ml; 20-30kg, 40ml;
30-40kg, 50ml. Tabs: Adults: 3 tabs daily in divided doses.
Adverse effects: May cause drowsiness at the beginning of the treatment.
